All classrooms should be reserved through the Registrar’s Office. All rooms reserved for events should be reserved by Scheduling and Event Services. Once you’ve reserved a room, the Classroom/Audiovisual Technology Support (KIT-CATS) group provides:

  • Audiovisual event support
  • Training on the use of classroom equipment
  • Lecture capture support
  • Videoconferencing and related technologies
  • General consulting for upgrades/installation of audiovisual equipment

How to Make a Request

Please make requests through the classroom support request form or event request form. Project, lecture capture, training, software, and technical help requests can be made by emailing [email protected]. Please check our pricing page for more details.

You should now be submitting your AV when you request your room in 25Live . If you have any questions please contact us at [email protected].

Proceed to enter your request if you have been instructed to do so by KIT-CATS, if you originally submitted your 25Live request answering the question “Do you need AV?” as No or I Don’t Know.

Please note: If this request is being made within 10 business days of the event, we will try to accommodate last-minute service requests, assuming we have the staff and equipment available, but please be advised that a 25% surcharge ($50 minimum) will be applied to the final quote. We cannot accept requests within 24 hours of the event/class.

Additional Information

For events with multi-room set-ups, we reserve the right to charge a set up fee of $50 per room as it may require more than one technician to complete in the allotted time.

If KIT-CATS is unavailable, we can arrange for an AV vendor to support your event. This is also charged at a 20% premium ($50 minimum), in addition to the vendor charge.

There is no charge for AV equipment for academic courses with confirmed room assignments in any of the General Pool classrooms during regular business hours M-F, 8AM – 8PM, Saturday 8AM-12PM. Support beyond those hours are subject to charge and must be arranged in advance (weekends are charged a 4 hour minimum).

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for event support must be made two business days prior to the event, to avoid any equipment charges or cancellations fees. A $50 cancellation fee will be made for any cancellation made beyond that point. Cancellations for day of the event are considered a no show and include all equipment/tech fees, plus the $50 penalty.
