The Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus has 3 computer classrooms available to reserve. The Macintosh classroom is equipped with 21” iMacs running OS X, with Office 2011. For a complete list of available software is available here: Software List
All computer classrooms employ Faronics Insight classroom management software that allows instructors to monitor student work, distribute and collect assignments, project student work for the class, and lock student screens when necessary. Also, be aware that all computers are frozen, so that no files that are saved on them in any session will remain after a reboot. Machines are rebooted each night. JHED IDs are required for login.
Arrangements for software installation or other special technology must be made one month in advance the start of the semester for scheduled classes, or one month in advance of any special event during the course of a semester. It may not be possible to fulfill requests that are made with less lead-time. All software installed for an instructor must be properly licensed. Software requests can be made through the online form.
