Faculty can incorporate computer technology into their instruction using one of the many technology classrooms on campus. The equipment that is permanently installed in these classrooms ranges from basic installs including a projector and laptop connection to full podiums full of equipment including a computer, projector, document camera and touch panel control system depending on what level technology is available.

If you need any equipment that is not currently installed in these classrooms, please make a request through our AV request form to arrange for delivery.

Many rooms no longer have VCRs in them and we may be able to deliver a VCR/BluRay combo but this may not always be the case so please consider converting your VHS tapes to a digital format.

There are 3 levels of technology classrooms with permanently installed equipment:

Level 1:

  • Projector
  • VCR/DVD Player (not installed in all)
  • Laptop Connection
  • Network Access
  • Extron Control System

Level 2:

  • Projector
  • Dell PC
  • VCR/DVD Player or BluRay
  • Document Camera
  • Laptop Connection
  • Network Access
  • Crestron Touchpanel Control System

Example: 205 Krieger Hall

Level 3:

  • Projector (sometimes more than 1)
  • Dell PC
  • BluRay Player
  • Document Camera
  • Laptop Connection
  • Network Access
  • Crestron Touchpanel Control System
  • Room Controls (lights and shades)

Example: All of Hodson Hall

Some of the classrooms (usually level 2 or 3) have a wireless microphone available.
